Chapter Officers are elected each year in May, either at or before the Service Weekend. If you have any questions about how elections work, or you are interested in running, contact the Chapter Chief.

Chapter Leadership Opportunities
There are many ways to help out the chapter, one of the biggest ones is serving in a chapter position. Chapters have 6 youth leaders that are called officers. The officers include a Chapter Chief, First Vice Chapter Chief, Second Vice Chapter Chief, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian. Here is a brief summary of what each officer does.
Chapter Chief - Oversees the entire chapter, including members, chairmen, officers, and adults. He is the head leader within the chapter and reports to the lodge at meeting of the Lodge Executive Committee (or LEC). He works with his officers closely, making sure they are doing what they should be.
First Vice Chapter Chief - Works with the Chapter Chief to plan and run the chapter. Assists him with leading meetings and overseeing the other officers. Works with the Chairmen positions and sees to it that they are effectively carrying out their jobs.
Second Vice Chapter Chief - Assists the Chapter Chief in whatever way possible. Works with the Chairmen positions and helps provide insight and assistance to them

Treasurer - In charge of the chapter monies and oversees fund raising opportunities and plans them. Creates a chapter budget at the beginning of each year and sees to it that members pay their dues.
Secretary - Oversees the Publications Chairman and Webmaster. Takes notes of Chapter meetings and maintains the membership lists and sing-in sheets.
Historian - In charge of the chapter's king's cup display and makes necessary repairs and/or revisions to it. Takes photographs of chapter activities.
There are also many other positions within the chapter, called Chairmen. There are 9 different Chairmen positions within Elauwit Chapter and include; American Indian Chairman, Camp Promotions Chairman, Ceremonies Chairman, Nimat Chairman, Ordealmaster, Order of the Arrow Troop Representative Chairman, and Publications Chairman.
